5. Are Nitrate Salt levels safe in Hydroponic vegetables?
Nitrate salts are naturally present in some vegetables. As long as the vegetables get enough sunlight during the growing process, they are perfectly safe for human consumption.
6. Are the fertilizers for hydroponics safe?
Yes. We use the minerals and micro-nutrients from large and renowned factories and suppliers. Anthony tests our water every day to see what nutrients are missing and adds only what the vegetables need. This ensures that there is no over-fertilization and everything is safe for the human body as well as the environment.
7. Are your vegetables tested for toxic substances?
Yes. We work with the Shuishang Township Farmer's Association to get our vegetables tested for 198 different kinds of toxic substances every 6 months. The test is based on the “Test for Pesticide Residues in Foods - Rapid Screening Mass Spectrometry Technique” as suggested by the Taiwanese FDA.
